Research has shown that having a balance of strength training, conditioning and flexibility of the fingers/thumbs, hands, wrists and forearms can dramatically improve your entire golf game. Building circulation, endurance and strength will improve your club control throughout the swing, allowing you to maintain proper clubface alignment, as well as provide power through impact.
