    Adjust resistance to the lowest setting.

    Turn the bottom cap counterclockwise until it pulls away from the VariGrip Unit.

    Remove the elastic ring “ball” from the receptacle.

    Insert the bottom of the replacement elastic in the center of the bottom twist-off cap.

    Pull the elastic by the “tail” and place the “ball” of the elastic ring inside the receptacle.

    Fold extra tail (past the “ball”) so that it is facing the top of the elastic ring. Close and tighten the cap by turning it clockwise until it stops moving.
VariGrip Uno also includes a screw cap, located towards the bottom of the unit that holds the elastic ring in place. In order to replace the elastic ring, please follow the steps above.
